Digital Tools - an Overview

We at TÜV NORD offer a broad range of digital Tools. These tools can support our daily work, no matter where the workspace is. The following toolset gives you an overview of all tools provided. 

 

Note: Microsoft Teams will be available across the Group from 01 February 2021.

To support location-flexible work during the Corona pandemic, many employees are already using Microsoft Teams.

Tools for direct exchange with your collegues

Cisco Jabber

The easiest way to directly interact.

The phone is still one of the best accessable tools to get in contact with your collegues. A list with all the employees of TÜV NORD can be found in the IDM. When not in the office, just forward the call to your mobile device. 

Tools for timely shifted communication with collegues

Outlook

If no direct communication is needed, mails are a great way to exchange informations between one or more contacts. Within TÜV NORD we use Outlook. This mailingservice also has the feature of sending documents (max. 10 mb).

SMS & iMessage

Another way of communication is providet by our mobilephones. You can use sms or iMessage to write directly to your collegues. iMessage is only avalible for iPhones.

Tools for data exchange

SharePoint

SharePoint offers the option to share data internally with several selected collegues.
Sharepoint provides a platform in which you structure data and information.

SecureStorage

TÜV NORD Secure Storageis afile sync andshare software. Itprovides a safe, secure, and compliant file synchronization and sharing solution on servers that you control.You can share one or more files and folders on your computer, and synchronize them with your TÜV NORD Secure Storageserver.

FileXchange

As a matter of fact, in some cases, a great amount of data needs to be shared with customers, suppliers etc. TÜV NORD ServE established a save and secure TÜV NORD Cloud solution.

Cisco WebEx Meetings

Cisco WebEx Meetings is a tool for videoconferences. It can be used by several participants from extern and intern. The participants can connect via computer, phone or tablet. It is also possible to share screens within the conferences.

Cisco WebEx Teams

Cisco WebEx Teams is a collaboration tool. It can support virtuall meetings with witeboards, where all participants can work on. Furthermore there is the option for chats and groupchats. 

Especially with the device Cisco Spark-Board Webex is a great tool to interact in meetings.
