Be strong together
In the current special situation, everyone's health has the highest priority. Keeping distance is the most important measure to contain the further spread of the virus. But that does not mean we are on our own now. Cohesion and cooperation are more important than ever. The situation demands the commitment of all of us – together we can overcome it. We want to show ways how we can work together (digitally) effectively and efficiently during this time and beyond, how everyone can adjust to this situation, and how current challenges can be mastered.
Working from home – are you prepared?
Successful digital collaboration at TÜV NORD GROUP
In addition to the motivation and creative will of each individual, more and more digital tools will support us in the coming weeks and beyond. These enable us to work flexibly in terms of time and place. Which tools are available? How do I set up my workplace in an optimal way? What do I have to take into account to ensure my health? How can I maintain my social contacts with colleagues despite the social distance?
On this page we want to collect all relevant information, tools and instructions to support you in your everyday life and in your cooperation in the best possible way. We, the Digital Academy team, the Digital Experts of the fifth training round and all TÜV NORD GROUP employees!
We support you – please support us too!
Share your knowledge, your ideas, your tools with colleagues, in order to make an active contribution to the joint shaping of the future of TÜV NORD GROUP. If you have any questions, feedback or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

General
Yes, with the consent of the manager, it may be possible to take advantage of the possibility of occasional flexible working – but not permanently.
Hardware, connectivity & internet
You can set up a hotspot via your business mobile phone and connect it to your company laptop. If you do not have a work mobile phone, you can request a data card for your laptop, after consulting your supervisor.
This depends on your country and provider. Please make sure to consult your supervisor about your need and the resulting costs. In general you are allowed to book data volume if required for work.
For Telekom Germany customers:
Open the following domain with your smartphone or notebook/PC:
On this page you can not only check the data volume used, but also book data volume (SpeedOn passes) if required. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet via the mobile network and not via Wi-Fi. Talk to your supervisor about your consumption and the resulting costs.
You have the possibility to access your TÜV NORD mails as well as the intranet via the https://www.tuev-nord.de/en/employee-login/. You also have the possibility to exchange and share data with your team via external sharepoints. For further information on data exchange click here.

You will also find further tools in the TÜV NORD software catalogue.
As an alternative, we recommend the conventional wired headphones with a 3.5 mm jack and microphone, which are often already included with your smartphone. You are welcome to use them as the quality is sufficient.
